Safety measures

Extracts

ART T21: concerns construction of stands

ART T22: concerns use of canopies

ART T23: concerns covered stands / ceilings and false ceilings

ART T36: concerns electrical installation on stands

ART T39: all presentations and demonstrations are at the entire liability of the exhibitor. Machines and apparatus presented in an operating state must run no risk to the public and must be declared to the MYS Organisation Committee.

ART T 40: if operating - or non-operating - machines and apparatus are presented at a fixed position, they must be fitted with devices that put dangerous parts (moving parts, hot, sharp and cutting areas) out of the reach of the public passing by. All equipment must be correctly stabilized. The exhibitor must fill in the declaration form for the operating machine or device, if need be.

Electricity

Electrical installations must comply with C15-100, C12-200 standards. Conductors used must not be fire propagating and must have a cross section suitable for the power being supplied and can never have a cross section less than 1.5 mm2.

Gas

The use of bottles of butane is authorised only if limited to one bottle per 10 m². They can be used once a pressure reducing valve has been fitted. No bottle, full or empty, can be left inside a stand if not connected to a working pipe. Empty display bottles must have the bottom open. Installation of devices that use propane gas is subject to regulation.

Please note:

The exhibition is located under structures and marquees.

The maximum authorised load on the wooden floor under the structures and marquees is 400 kg/m².

All exhibition of equipment bordering on this load will require the request of a special authorization from the Organizing Committee due to the difficulties of transporting the equipment to the stand location. Moreover, transport of the said equipment will have to be handled by the official service provider, namely the Office Maritime Monegasque. In addition, exhibitors are responsible for having the floors of their stands reinforced at their expense which will be installed by the Organisation Committee.

It is strictly forbidden to suspend, hook or sling items directly from the framework of the tents’ structure. No storage is allowed around structures and marquees.
