The Monaco Yacht Show, in collaboration with the Government of the Principality of Monaco, maintains the series of measures of security “Vigirenfort” (red level of the French national alert system) to strengthen security checks both at the various quayside entry points to the show and on the water.

Strengthening of security measures on land

One or several security agents will perform visual checks of bags of all types and will ask those wishing to access the Show to open their jackets.

On account of the layout of the Show, we ask for the cooperation of visitors and exhibitors in accepting the frequent checks they will be subject to.

The MYS Organisation Committee reserves the right to deny access to any person who refuses to cooperate with the security checks at the entrances to the Show, even if that person possesses a valid access badge.

Access to the Piscine road will be authorized for deliveries before 9.30 am and after 3 pm.

Operators of any vehicle requiring access to this road must declare in advance the identity of the driver (Name, first name, date and place of birth, ID card or passport number) and the vehicle (licence plate number) to the MYS Organisation Committee by filling in the Service providers’ pass available on the Exhibitor Zone.

Access to the show venue for the exhibitors’ service providers

The providers that must intervene on the exhibitor’s stand (stand builder, deliverer…) has to present a service providers’ pass to the security agents to access the show. Any provider that does not present a service providers’ pass will not be authorized to enter the venue for security reasons.

NB: the service providers’ pass is only reserved to companies that are not referenced as MYS official provider.

The exhibitor must edit a service providers’ pass in their digital Exhibitor Zone and forward this document to their providers.

Control of access by sea at harbour entrance

The security system will remain the same during the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show. The system involves the creation of a barrier in the channel between the Quai Rainier III and the Quai Lucciana, the creation of a pass granting access to the harbour to be displayed on all vessels, and control of all inbound and outbound movements.

Only yachts & tenders with a sticker, mentioning the license plate number, has to be displayed as visible as possible at the port side of the boat, are allowed to acces in the port Hercules

Any unit appearing at the entrance to the water without the mandatory sticker is prohibited from access to Port Hercules and will be automatically refused and invited to disembark / board at Fontvieille.

Access to the Port Hercules will be controlled as follows from 0.01 am on Wednesday 25 September to 6pm on Saturday 28 September:

During the day:
Access available on presentation of the sticker clearly displayed as visible as possible at the port side of the boat (including the tender’s license plate):

- To vessels duly authorized by the port authorities (SEPM – Maritime Affairs Department).
- To members of the Yacht Club de Monaco.

At night:

- The harbour will be closed from 0.01 am to 7 am on Wednesday 25, Thursday 26, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September 2019.

NB: For evening events on yachts moored in the bay guests may leave from Port Hercules but if returning after midnight they must be landed at Fontvieille harbour.

- Passengers disembarking in the Port Hercules between 7.30 pm and midnight or between 5 am and 11 am can only do so at the pontoon "Touch & Go" of the Yacht Club de Monaco.

Passengers leaving the MYS enclosure must use the gate situated opposite the atrium as the quays of the Port Hercules are not accessible to the public outside the opening hours of the Show.
