Press accreditation

During the MYS (25-28 Sep. 2019), all requests for press accreditation are directly treated on the show venue (Quai Antoine Ier entrance). Please fill this online application form beforehand with the required proofs of your journalist activity.

NB: from the 2020 MYS, all press accreditation requests will be directly treated online without any possibility to request for your badge at the show.

For all filming in the Principality, you must request for an authorisation to the Monaco Press Centre.

No drones are allowed inside the MYS perimeter. Only the official MYS drone company MC Clic is allowed to use a drone during the event ().

 

Any infringement will be sanctioned with a fine according to article 2 number 2 of the Monegasque Penal Code.

The press accreditation must be collected at the Quai Antoine Ier entrance from Tuesday 24 September on presentation of an ID card with the same name as registered for your online request, preliminary approved.

The press accreditation is nominative and non-transferable. The number of entries is controlled and limited. The MYS Press service reserves the right to cancel any accreditation in case of abuse.

- Access to all exhibition areas of the MYS during the 4 days of the show
- Access to the Press Centre (Starboard - Quai Antoine Ier area), equipped with a working office space and a Wi-Fi connection.

- The press accreditation gives access to all MYS exhibition areas (except the C&C Lounge, reserved for captains and crews).

The press accreditation does not give access:
- On board the yachts (directly upon request to the exhibitor)
- To the C&C Lounge (dedicated to captains and crew members)

Important:
The list of accredited media can be shared with exhibiting companies and partners of MYS only for organizing the media coverage of their participation in the show (sending press releases, invitations to press conferences during the show...).
The exhibiting company undertakes its responsibility not to transmit this list to any other third-party company.

Please contact if you do not wish to receive the exhibitor press conference program during the MYS.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday:
Journalists are authorised to access the show from 8:30am on presentation of:
- MYS Press badge
- Invitation to the press conference organised by the exhibitor.

> Editorial journalist: editor-in-chief, freelance journalist, press reporter, web, radio or TV, etc.

> Audiovisual media: agency for audiovisual media, a press or freelance photographer, a television, etc.

> Technician: TV crews, etc.,

> Influencer: Instagrammer, YouTuber, Blogger, Vlogger, etc.

If you represent more than one media or have multiple functions, please complete the title of the media for which you are reporting on the MYS.

A media may request one or more press badges.

The MYS Press Office reserves the right to assign or reject them depending on the category of the media, its importance, the intended audience or the type of coverage planned.

Sales or marketing representatives of the media (advertising manager, sales agent, marketing or communication manager, etc.) are not eligible for accreditation. They must order either a Professional Pass or a Daily Pass.

You must provide as supporting documents (screenshots in support):
> Be present on at least one social network (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc...)
> To be a recognised influencer in boating, yachting, business and activities related to lifestyle and luxury.

Criteria for defining an influencer:
Your activity on social networks must meet the following criteria:
> Be the owner of the social media account
> Facebook: 20,000 fans minimum
> Twitter: 10,000 subscribers minimum
> Instagram: 20,000 subscribers minimum
> YouTube: post a minimum of one video per month about the topics previously mentioned

An engagement rate from 1% is required.

Important:
Only one press accreditation will be issued by Influencer.
If you exceptionally need a technician to assist you, fill out an additional application on his behalf and attach an official letter to the media header signed by you, justifying his function in the show coverage and listing his name and surname.

No press accreditation will be issued if the form is not duly completed or if your profile does not meet the required conditions of selection.
The Monaco Yacht Show reserves the right to refuse any request for press accreditation if the information provided is not sufficiently explicit or if the contents proposed on the social media accounts are not considered of good editorial or audiovisual quality or if they do not respect others.

The document must:
1. Detail the publication, the type of report to be produced and specify the planned publication date (as precisely as possible).
2. Explicitly identify you as author of the report whether digital, print, television or radio.
3. If you come in a team, list the names, first names and functions of all members (technicians included).
4. Be signed by the Editor-in-Chief or the Publishing Director of the media concerned.

Important:
If you come as a team, each member will submit an application.
If you are an audiovisual production company, you must be appointed by a broadcaster (television channel).
If you received a press badge last year, please send the media coverage you produced.
